What changed
Axis Bank and MakeMyTrip opened an instant-discount programme on 18 August 2026, running to 18 March 2027, on all Axis Bank consumer credit cards. Two coupon codes carry it: MMTAXISFEST for domestic, MMTAXISINTFEST for international.

Who is affected
Axis's terms name no individual card — "Applicable Cards: Axis Bank Credit Cards" — so every Axis consumer credit card qualifies, including Atlas, Magnus, Reserve, Select and ACE.
Two exclusions matter: Axis RuPay credit card transactions made through UPI do not qualify, and corporate and commercial cards are out.
What to do
Read the calendar, because this is where the offer is won or lost. The discount applies only to bookings made inside nine three-day booking windows, each opening about ten days before the long weekend it covers: 18–20 Aug, 22–24 Sep, 8–10 Oct, 28–30 Oct, 15–17 Dec and 22–24 Dec 2026, then 14–16 Jan, 10–12 Mar and 16–18 Mar 2027. Booking on the long weekend itself earns nothing.
The second constraint is harder: one booking per card per category for the entire seven-month programme. So the domestic-flight cap is not ₹1,800 a window, it is ₹1,800 full stop. Spend your single domestic-flight booking on the most expensive trip of the year, not the first one you take — the 10% only reaches its ₹1,800 ceiling at ₹18,000 of fare.
Stacking still works in your favour: this is an instant discount at checkout, so Atlas EDGE Miles still accrue on the reduced amount. If you hold more than one Axis card, each gets its own allowance per category.
