Accounts

An account is optional — every card page, guide, comparison, calculator and course chapter is readable without one. Signing in with Google saves your Credit Cards 101 progress, and nothing else.

• 18+ and one account per person. Accounts are for adults eligible to hold a credit card in India. Setting up the course asks you to confirm you are 18 or over; that confirmation must be true, and we may delete an account we reasonably believe belongs to someone under 18. We do not ask for your date of birth. Do not create an account for anyone else or with a Google account that is not yours.
• Course setup. Saving your course progress to your account requires a one-time setup form: a monthly spend band, up to three spend categories, and what you want from the course. The form also offers an optional mobile number, for fee-waiver and renewal reminders. It is optional in the ordinary sense — leaving it blank completes the form, saves your progress and changes nothing — and we send no SMS today, because no messaging service is connected to the site. Reading the course never requires any of this: every chapter stays open, and without the form your place is simply kept in your own browser instead. You can change or clear the answers, or remove the number on its own, at any time from your account.
• Accurate information. Your name and email come from Google; keep them current there. Do not impersonate anyone.
• Your account is yours to keep secure. Anyone with access to your Google account can sign in as you. If you think that has happened, sign out (which ends the session immediately) and secure your Google account.
• Fair use.Do not attempt to access another person's account, automate sign-ins, or use the account APIs for anything other than using the site normally. We may suspend or delete an account we reasonably believe is being abused, or is being used to attack or overload the service.
• Ending it. You can delete your account at any time from your account; your profile, sessions and course progress are erased immediately and permanently. We may discontinue accounts as a feature with reasonable notice — the content of the site would remain free to read. What we hold, and for how long, is set out in our privacy policy.

Course progress is a convenience feature offered as-is. We do not guarantee it will never be lost, and losing it does not affect your access to any content.

Information, not advice

BestCredit publishes independent research, reviews, comparisons and calculators about credit cards available in India. All content is general information — not personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and no content on this site should be read as a recommendation that a specific product is suitable for your individual circumstances. Consider your own situation, and consult a SEBI-registered adviser or other qualified professional where appropriate.

Accuracy and verification

We verify card details against the issuer's own published pages and show a "last verified" date on each review. Issuers change fees, rewards and terms at their discretion and without notice, so we cannot guarantee that every detail is current. Always confirm the live terms, fees, eligibility and application conditions on the issuer's website before applying.The issuer's Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) and card agreement always prevail over anything on this site.

No approval promises

Nothing on BestCredit is a pre-approval, an offer of credit, or a guarantee that any issuer will approve an application. Credit decisions are made solely by the issuing bank under its own policies and applicable RBI regulations.

Commercial relationships

We may earn commissions from issuers or affiliate networks when you apply through links on the site, as described in our disclosure. This never affects ratings or rankings.

Intellectual property

Site content (text, data, design, graphics) is owned by BestCredit unless otherwise noted. Card names, logos and artwork belong to their respective issuers and are used for identification. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link; wholesale reproduction or scraping of our card dataset for commercial use requires written permission.

Links to issuer and third-party sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BestCredit is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on site content, from issuer decisions, or from your use of third-party sites — including application rejections, fee changes or reward devaluations.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
