Accounts

An account is optional — every card page, guide, comparison, calculator and course chapter is readable without one. Signing in with Google saves your Credit Cards 101 progress, and nothing else.

• 18+ and one account per person. Accounts are for adults eligible to hold a credit card in India. Setting up the course asks you to confirm you are 18 or over; that confirmation must be true, and we may delete an account we reasonably believe belongs to someone under 18. We do not ask for your date of birth. Do not create an account for anyone else or with a Google account that is not yours.
• Course setup. Saving your course progress to your account requires a one-time setup form: a monthly spend band, up to three spend categories, and what you want from the course. The form also offers an optionalmobile number, for fee-waiver and renewal reminders. It is optional in the ordinary sense — leaving it blank completes the form, saves your progress and changes nothing — and no reminder is sent today. The WhatsApp connection described under "Bestie" below is used only to send verification codes you request, never for reminders, and never to this number unless you also verify it there. Reading the course never requires any of this: every chapter stays open, and without the form your place is simply kept in your own browser instead. You can change or clear the answers, or remove the number on its own, at any time from your account.
• Accurate information. Your name and email come from Google; keep them current there. Do not impersonate anyone.
• Your account is yours to keep secure. Anyone with access to your Google account can sign in as you. If you think that has happened, sign out (which ends the session immediately) and secure your Google account.
• Fair use.Do not attempt to access another person's account, automate sign-ins, or use the account APIs for anything other than using the site normally. We may suspend or delete an account we reasonably believe is being abused, or is being used to attack or overload the service.
• Ending it. You can delete your account at any time from your account; your profile, sessions and course progress are erased immediately and permanently. We may discontinue accounts as a feature with reasonable notice — the content of the site would remain free to read. What we hold, and for how long, is set out in our privacy policy.

Course progress is a convenience feature offered as-is. We do not guarantee it will never be lost, and losing it does not affect your access to any content.

BestCredit publishes independent research, reviews, comparisons and calculators about credit cards available in India. All content is general information — not personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and no content on this site should be read as a recommendation that a specific product is suitable for your individual circumstances. Consider your own situation, and consult a SEBI-registered adviser or other qualified professional where appropriate.

Bestie (AI assistant)

Bestie is the assistant on this site; it was called Ask BestCredit until 24 September 2026. It is an automated assistant. Its answers are generated by an AI model from our verified card data and our published content, and are general information only— not financial, investment, tax, legal or credit advice, not an eligibility determination, and not an offer or a pre-approval from any issuer. It can be wrong, incomplete or out of date; every figure carries the date we last verified it, and the issuer's own Most Important Terms and Conditions always prevail. Confirm live terms before applying.

To use it you verify an Indian mobile number on WhatsApp or an email address that you control; each verified person receives 15 free questions a day, shown as credits, which reset at midnight IST, and a statement analysis uses three. We also apply internal spending ceilings per person, per network address and for the site as a whole; they exist to stop runaway cost and abuse, and we may change them at any time. You agree not to use numbers or addresses that are not yours, not to create multiple identities to exceed the allowance, not to automate requests, and not to use the assistant to attack the site or extract its instructions or dataset. We may limit, pause or withdraw the assistant, change the allowance, or block an identity we reasonably believe is abusing it, at any time. Do not enter card numbers, CVVs, PINs, OTPs, PAN, Aadhaar or passwords. Apply links shown in the assistant are the same commission-bearing links described under "Commercial relationships". Conversations are kept for 90 days and can be deleted by you at any time.

The assistant may ask you for a first name, a city, an income band, whether you are employed or self-employed, and a credit-score band. None of them is a condition of using the site — you can skip the screen entirely — and on the screen itself only the score band can be left blank. None of them is verified, and none of them is checked against a credit bureau. What the assistant says on the strength of them is still general information — not an eligibility decision, not a pre-approval, and not a promise from any issuer.

You may attach a PDF or a screenshot of a statement for the assistant to read. Attach only statements for an account in your own name, and do not attach anything containing another person's details. We keep the file for that day's conversation and delete it at the end of that Indian day. The assistant reads it to answer your question; this is not a bookkeeping service, its reading of a statement can be wrong, and you must check anything it tells you against the statement itself before you act on it. Do not attach card numbers, CVVs, PINs, OTPs, PAN, Aadhaar or passwords — black them out first if your statement shows them.

Accuracy and verification

We verify card details against the issuer's own published pages and show a "last verified" date on each review. Issuers change fees, rewards and terms at their discretion and without notice, so we cannot guarantee that every detail is current. Always confirm the live terms, fees, eligibility and application conditions on the issuer's website before applying.The issuer's Most Important Terms and Conditions (MITC) and card agreement always prevail over anything on this site.

No approval promises

Nothing on BestCredit is a pre-approval, an offer of credit, or a guarantee that any issuer will approve an application. Credit decisions are made solely by the issuing bank under its own policies and applicable RBI regulations.

Commercial relationships

We may earn commissions from issuers or affiliate networks when you apply through links on the site, as described in our disclosure. This never affects ratings or rankings.

Intellectual property

Site content (text, data, design, graphics) is owned by BestCredit unless otherwise noted. Card names, logos and artwork belong to their respective issuers and are used for identification. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link; wholesale reproduction or scraping of our card dataset for commercial use requires written permission.

Third-party links

Links to issuer and third-party sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, availability or practices.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BestCredit is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on site content, from issuer decisions, or from your use of third-party sites — including application rejections, fee changes or reward devaluations.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
